Stunning Rainbow Color
Rainbowfish worth it?
I am thinking about making a community tank with some assorted rainbowfish, IE Boesman, Turqoise, Red, etc....
Has anyone ever taken care of these fish? How are their colors? Are they REALLY that visually stunning?
What would be a good substitute for a colorful fish in my community tank if I don't get the rainbows?
My current setup
55 gallon
2 Pearl Gouramis
2 Dwarf neon blue gouramis
5 Kuhli loaches
1 Rubberlip Pleco
The Gouramis I have selected are peaceful and will do well in a community tank, especially with one another.
The Pleco I have selected will only grow to 6 inches. 1/8th the length of my tank.
i don't think that rainbow fish are all that colorful, i would suggest buying neon tetras.
male guppies are also very colorful, but could be a problem with the gouramis because they tend to nip at the guppies' fins.

How do I write a letter to a CSU explaining the downturn of my final grades in high school?
I have 2 D's. One in an elective AP art history class and another in AP English. I understand the importance of english my senior year but a lot of stuff happened that hit me hard and put my grades in jeopardy. how long should my letter be? who or how do i address it? who do i mail it to? what do i say beside my reason for poor work habits? any details would be great, thanks.
I would think that if you have already been accepted this should not be an issue. You might be put on some kind of semester warning or something to that effect in the fall.
If you have been contacted by the University requesting this information you should contact whoever is in charge of admissions for your major and ask what information they require. Or contact the college that 'nests' your major; ie if you are a History major your college would be Arts & Sciences or something to that affect. You would then request to speak to an advisor of sorts. Also, get in touch with whoever sent you the letter and they can provide you with the info you need.
If you haven't been contacted by the University then for your own piece of mind call the University's Ombuds or the Dean of Students (name varies by university). That person will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do if anything. Also they can give you all the contact info you need. If you can't find the Ombud's contact info then call the Information Desk (all uni's have them) and ask for it.

How much should a new high school graduate charge to tutor a sixth grade student (see details)?
I live in a small town. I've just graduated high school, and I'm going to teach French this summer to a sixth-grade student (whose native language is not English, perhaps making it slightly more challenging). What sounds like a reasonable hourly rate?
I tutored a 5th grader in math, and I charged $10 an hour.
The mom was very generous and if I asked for more, she probably would have given it to me. So I'd say $15, and I would have a laptop handy for translation.
