High Grade Silver
I have a silver soprano saxophone that i need help identifying..?
It has : American Standard High Grade made by Clev. Mus. Ins. Co Clev. O-O. The only numbers i could find on it were M89 near the top and pat. 1.705634
I've researched a bit on the net, and keep coming up with HNWhite, but i need the info on the company and instruments once it became Cleveland Musical Instruments Co....
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Endeavour Silver Discovers Two New High Grade Silver-Gold Veins Adjacent to Lucero Vein
How can I obatain elemental silver from Silver Nitrate in a quick, safe, and cost effective manner?
We have to make Silver oscar trophies with the same dimensions as the current gold trophies.
1. The current trophy is 3.86 kg. we need to use this to find the mass of silver required. How can I use the mass of the gold to find out the mass of the silver?
2. I need the most cost effective method for obtaining the silver from the silver nitrate.
3. My teacher says container size and company may effect the cost of the materials. We need to figuratively "buy" an entire container.
4.She also recommends high grade silver nitrate b/c impurities will effect our yield. If we choose a lower grade silver, then we have to show calculations for the percent yield.
Okay, here is how I would do it. Ag is in +1 oxidation state. What you need to do is get another metal to come along and reduce it to it's normal oxidation state. So look at an oxidation table for a metal that will reduce silver and itself be oxidized, taking it's place in solution with the NO3-. Make sure the metal is soluble. Off the top of my head, I would guess that zinc might be a good candidate for the job, but you need to look at an oxidation table and figure out for yourself what will work and furthermore. I can't remember if zinc is a more powerful reducing agent than silver.

What does this poem mean?

Hardy reflects on a lunar eclipse, that is when the earth comes between the sun and the moon and the earth's shadow is cast on the face of the moon. Imagine the poet standing somewhere in his native England at night, watching how the shadow of the earth slowly creeps over the face of the moon. The moon anyway in not very bright, it only has a "meek shine" but now the curved form of the earth steals along it. It is all very peaceful and serene.
But can that serene shadow or image be the troubled earth we know and experience, filled with so much misery and turmoil (moil)?
Is that small shadow all that our mortality, all that we represent? We cast only a small shadow. Can Heaven's great plans for humanity (he's referring to our religious beliefs) be trapped in that small space?
From the perspective of the heavens, the universe (the stellar guage) is that all that our wars, our exploits and inventions (brains that teem), heroes and beauties really look like, is that all our significance?

My cheeks are almost always bright red. What can I do about it?
When I'm at home getting ready for school in the mornings my face is okay, and it's not flaming red or anything because I'm content around my family. But when I get to school I'm rushing around a lot and get tired and embarassed often, so my cheeks turn a bright red. Really, it's embarassing. My cheeks are naturally red ( at least, that's what my mom says ), but I don't like it. My mom says that osme girls would kill to not have to use makeup or pinch their cheeks to get a slight tint to their cheeks, but I wish it would go away. The bad part is, only my cheeks get red, but not the rest of my face, so it just looks like I applied too much makeup to my cheeks. Sometimes my cheeks burn so bad that even when I put my icy cold fingers on them to cool them down it doesn't halp much. I really hate my red cheeks because it ruins all of my makeup and takes away that fresh, clean look that I start out with in the morning, so I appear very unattractive to myself. Is there anything i can do?
I totally understand this because I have really pale skin and bright red cheeks all the time. It looks terrible because it looks like I've put blusher unevenly from my eyes to my jaw. The slightest change in temperature or even walking up stairs makes them flare up even worse.
I know that there are times when your cheeks burn so hot you can feel the blood pumping though them, but it's best not to touch them. Doing that only attracts other people's attention to it and makes them more likely to go "Are you all right? You're really red". Which of course makes it worse. And as you say, it ruins the makeup.
My main product is liquid foundation. People say to test it on your jawline, but because it's red I can't do that, so I make sure it matches the skin below my eyebrows. It's nearly always the palest shade available anyway.
If I'm only hanging around the house, I just use the liquid to cover the red areas, which is enough to keep my parents (or flatmates while I'm at uni) from commenting on my redness.
If I'm going out though, I need more so I use powder over the top. Trouble is, powder on top of liquid foundation is a different shade to powder on bare skin.
So I use a light layer of liquid foundation all over my face, then go back and add more to hide the red areas. Then I use a big brush to dust the powder really lightly over my face. I tend to use 2 similar shades of powder to even things out completely.
Under normal circumstances, I've found that it lasts for about 12 hours as long as I don't touch my face too much. Even then, I only need to touch up the powder. What really trashes it is sweat. When I go horseriding, I end up a bit orange, but I'd rather be orange than red.
I know someone else said that makeup makes you spotty, but if you use the right things, it doesn't. Your makeup should help keep the balance between dry skin and greasy skin. Most acne is caused by hormones and I know I only ever get spots around my period, so don't be afraid of using makeup.
Maybe it's an actual skin condition, but I've accepted now that it's something I'm stuck with and my makeup has become a part of me. I'm so much less self conscious now, because I know that no matter how bad my skin is underneath, no one can see it.
I'd say you just need to experiment to find the right makeup for your skin and that paler shades of foundation, are the best at hiding it. I've got sensitive skin and I've found that Collection 2000 is gentle and really effective, so don't be fooled into thinking you need to spend a fortune on makeup. Maybe in time you'll get used to your skin and won't worry about it so much, I'm hoping that'll happen to me at some point. Either way, good luck! I hope you find a solution.

You'll Rebel to Anything [Clean] $12.78 Had the Mael brothers from Sparks grown up on speed and death metal, slept on pins and needles nightly, and had Rob Zombie for their music teacher, they might have released an album as tense, strident, and freakishly fun as You'll Rebel to Anything. Mindless Self Indulgence's lead singer, Jimmy Urine, is a helium-voiced campy word-twister like Russell Mael, but he's never met a cuss word he didn't like, isn't afraid to destroy a Rush song, and is not as much smart as smartass. Cool couplets like "I like my coffee black/Just like my metal" have made him the darling of fun goths, but on You'll Rebel to Anything his band -- which has always been very good -- is now fantastic, matching Urine punch for punch, whip snap for whip snap, and twist for turn. This is a furiously twitchy record with a million things going on at once, all put through a glitchy, stuttering blender. Sure, there are those straight-fingered bar chords the industrial metal set love so much, but there's also a ton of bright, ping-ponging synth notes and a near Plunderphonics style of editing things down to short bursts that would make the quickest thrash band go "wow." Plus, you'd have to listen to 20 prog rock albums to get as many time changes and you can bet they wouldn't have any lyrics as youthfully exuberant as "I'm not educated/Extra caffeinated/I just masturbated." You'll Rebel is for the rebellious teenager and the rebelliously teenaged at heart, but rarely does such irreverence, irresponsibility, and ire come dressed in a sound so thrilling. The album is solid enough to raise MSI above the black nail polish set's best-kept secret, and if all this trashy flipping the bird sounds too Insane Clown Posse, too Marilyn Manson, know that the bassist from those barometers of taste Interpol is a big fan. He probably appreciates snarling loud party music with an extra helping of outlandish, so take the stick out of your you-know-what and join him. Is it okay to give water to my baby [5 months], he is on cereal and urine is bright yellow ?
My son is on cereal already. And high calorie formula as he has to gain weight and thrive. His urine is very bright yellow almost all the time. How much water is okay and how often in a day? What type of water ? nursery special or regular filtered, clean tap water, or bottled water that we drink ?
Given that his urine is not clear, he is not getting his nutrition anyway as he is not able to absorb any of it evenif he is drinking it all. I agree that water could solve the dehydration issues... Question is pedialyte or other fluids or plain water ?
Try giving him an ounce of cooled, boiled water once or twice a day, and see if his urine becomes less concentrated. Then talk to your doctor.
EDIT: Water Intoxication is dangerous for babies, but has only been observed in infants who were given up to three 8 ounce bottles of water in one day - there is no danger in giving a baby an ounce of water once or twice daily, when the weather is hot, and when his urine is more concentrated than normal.
In this instance, the danger of dehydration is far more likely than that of Water Intoxication!
