What is the title and author of this book?
There is a short story about a man on a ship, who talks about the people at his table. For each he gives a nickname, one is the "Authority on Everything" or something like that. The story is that one of women at the table has a string of pearls, and her husband asks the Authority if he can tell if they are real or not. It turns out that the woman got the pearls from a lover and is afraid that she will be found out, if someone really can tell that they are real, and not the cheap necklace she told her husband she bought with her pin money. Does anyone know the title and author of this story?

How can I adhere things to lamination paper?
I love creating things: earrings, pins, necklaces, jewelry, etc. I've tried gluing earring posts and pins to the backs of laminated artwork, but (after the glue *industrial strength craft adhesive E6000* dries), it doesn't stick! Also, I've tried using heavy-duty packaging tape on lamination paper to craft a wallet.. it didn't work out *the tape peeled right off!*. Do you know anything that DOES stick to lamination paper?
Try roughing up the area directly under what you're gluing with an emery board or something.

Can I ruse soil from an older outdoor garden?
I moved into my home 2 years ago, in my backyard there is a small garden that was pretty much 'boxed' in and all the grew in it was grass. I just dug it up because I want to grow mint plants this year. What I'd like to know is if I can reuse the soil I had just dug out or should I get new soil?Throwing it all out looks like a pain in the butt and a waste.

You can reuse, but amend the soil with some compost since the nutrients may be depleted.

When can I start growing garden vegetables inside as starter plants for outdoor gardening, Primariy pumpkins?
I live in NE USA (Maine), I usurally wait until spring and snow gone and frost out of ground, sometimes the season doesn't seem long enough, so I want to start inside, with seed and have healthy seedlings to put in ground.
it is a great time to start most of your veggies indoors. Pumpkins are a little different though. They only take about 3 months to mature, and since most people want to have ripe pumpkins in the fall rather than the summer, most wait until May or so to plant their pumpkin seeds. however, if you want to start them inside, go ahead and just set them out when the last threat of frost is gone.

If your trying to spend only around $300 then it's going to be hard to find a good 2channel amp that's putting out 800rms bridged. Yoru best bet would be to go with 2 Bazooka BA1300 and put one on each sub (subs wired in parellel). I've heard this setup before and it works and sounds great.

I'm starting pole dancing lessons tomorrow but..?
I'm an 18 y/o girl and I'm starting pole dancing lessons tomorrow. The problem is, I have some cuts on my left wrist and I need to cover the up. Wearing a long sleeved tshirt wont work because the sleeves will just ride up.
I was thinking of wearing one of those tubi-grip bandages but what excuse could I use for that? I couldn't say it was a sprain or I wouldn't be able to do the class.
Please could anyone help me out? This is meant to be fun and I won't be able to enjoy it if my cuts are on display.
Make up won't cover it and neither will a wristband since there are too many cuts.
