Is Himalayan Blue Poppy illegal to grow in USA, and would it grow in outdoor garden in NY?
while looking into it i found it is not a true poppy but I'm not sure if it produces illicit alkaloids. I just like the way it looks and and am not concerned about alkaloid content, just if it may get me into legal trouble, and if i can grow it successfully as far north as new york

It is worth it to replace my older central ACs?
My AC compressor and furnace are 18 years old. They seem to work fine, but I have high electricity bills (I live in the southern USA, average outdoor temps in the 90s). I have some extra money right now and trying to decide if I should take the opportunity to upgrade.
What sort of improvement will I see on my electricity bill? Am I better off to put that money in the bank and just waiting until I need to replace the old system?
Yes, but do it near the end of the season. Every installer would rather sell it at a loss then to hold on to it for the next season.
Most new A/C units are so much more efficient that it will save you in your electric bull down the line. Wait to find one thats about 85% or more energy rating for less the $2000.00. It will save you at least 20 % on your next seasons monthly eletric bills. Do some shopping around cause their all basically the same, only a few companys make all the parts for almost all the brand names out there. Good luck!

Hi, I recently tried to go to the USA using my Portuguese passport, but i did not know that i needed a visa.?
So, when i arrived at the port of entry, the officer stopped me and asked me some questions and:
At the bottom of the page of the statement made by the DHS and CBP, it says: "you have filled out Visa Waiver Program Form I94W and have applied to enter the United States under the Visa Waiver Permanent Program. You have been found inadmissible to enter the United States under INA 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I) in that you have overstayed in the United States under your P1 Program" .
And on the I-94 says: "Refused to entry pursuant to 8 CFR 217.4(a) 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (I)
I had a P1 visa for one year, and i overstayed my visa for 2 weeks due to health issues. I explained to the officer, and they said that i needed a visa to enter the country.
What does it mean? Do i have to apply for the I-212? If so, do i have to apply through the Consular or through the DHS or CBP
Well, since you overstayed your previous P visa, when you were working in the US, it gave them an excuse to refuse you entry under Visa Waiver. Maybe they thought you were really coming back to work again. Hard to say. However, since it's happened, as they told you, you won't be able to return to the US under Visa Waiver and if you want to come back, you'll have to apply for a tourist visa in Lisbon or elsewhere. The good news is, at least you aren't legally prohibitted from getting a tourist visa, but you can be sure if you apply for one anytime soon, there will be lots of questions.

for " Advanced entry " via the waiver program using
Form I-192?
If so, how do you get letter samples ( as a guide ) to write the letter to the DHS explaining your past?.
Is they're some format that works better than others?
All other documents are already completed; eg. RCMP fingerprint files, character letters etc...
Just a little stumped on this letter to the Department of Homeland Security.
Just make it simple and to the point, and include all pertinent information like dates, locations of incident, etc., and explain why you feel this incident should be overlooked.
