Hacking Metro PCS Motorola w315 to make a Data Call. Help! Says "Call Failed. Date Service Unavailable".
I have a Metro PCS Motorola w315. I just bought it. I want to use the phone as a modem. I have looked in the forums and I know how to access my programming menu on my phone and I know how to find and use my Subsidy Code . I have done both with no problem. I have a data cable from an alltel store #MDASM14 . I have loaded the drivers and plugged in the phone/. It attempts to makle a data call then it reads "Call Failed. Date Service Unavailable." I am using AOL to dial out and I am including the area code when doing so. I have the $45 a month plan.
I used to have a nextel phone. Used that as a modem no problem. I am guessing maybe some extra software to configure the phone and maybe different drivers would make this work.
Please help me on how I can get this to work. Web Browser will not work either. I need this to work soon because i need to connect for business. If its a 56k connection, thats fine. I just need to connect. Is there a faster option, such as tapping into evdo?
The # to dial out to the phone is "#777". The username is "your area code phone number no hyphens@mymetropcs.com". The password is "mymetropcs".

These should be the settings for your DUN(dial up network). Make sure you have "obtain ip address" and "dns server" selected to automatic. The dial up server you are calling should be "PPP". Make sure your phone is listed as a modem in Hardware Manager and that your phone is connected. Then open Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu, Internet Options, Connections tab. Once there, make sure you've selected the dial-up connection from the list and click the Settings button. Check the box for Use a proxy server for this connection and enter "wap.metropcs.net" in the address box and 3128 in the port box.

* Phone numbers. There is a very good reason why dating sites recommend not giving out your phone number too soon. Depending on where you live, vast amounts of information can be obtained from your phone number. If the friendship goes belly up do you really want to have to change your numbers because you are being annoyed by some deranged stalker? Do you want them annoying you at work? Be honest, would you hand over your telephone number to a complete stranger you weren't sure of in a bar? At least you have actually seen first hand the stranger in the bar.
* Financial situation. If you are wealthy, lucky you. Don't go advertising it while online dating though. * Read the fine print. As with anything else you purchase over the Net, it is always a sensible idea to read the small print. Are there monthly fees? What do you actually get for your money? Will it cost you more to contact those you fancy? Is the dating site reputable? Using a credit card with legitimate sites is no more dangerous than using it in a retail store. I'm going shopping for cologne at like Hollister and American Eagle and Abercrombie. I was wondering if the cologne that they sell is on like a display so you can smell what the cologne smells like. I dont wanna buy a cologne that i have no clue what the smell is and its a mystery!
They usually have a sample spray out just for that reason, and you can even test it on yourself.

Do Landlords have a responsibility to keep their bar staff safe?
I was a barmaid, and complained to my employers that a man was continually grabbing my bottom and my breasts while I tried to do my job. Nothing was done, and I was told that I had to continue to serve him. My partner had a polite word with the gentleman a few days later, when it became apparent that the customer was not going to stop. I was then chastised by my employer for 'having my boyfriend come to work with me'. I was told that its my responsibility to deal with gropey perverts, but was not allowed to be rude, bar them or retaliate in any way. This took place yesterday. Today I was fired because being 'an attractive woman with large breasts would always attract that sort of attention, and they can't wrap me in cotton wool'. They fired me because they think I'm too soft and can't take men looking at me and making rude comments. The leers and the pervy remarks I can take, its the grabbing and touching that I don't think I have to put up with. Any thoughts?

i find the behaviour of that landlord appalling, i have been in the pub industry a very long time and there is NO WAY you have to put up with that
there is a huge difference between having a laugh and a joke with customers and being molested.

It is better that we remember that our nation was founded on grounds of religious freedom. The idealism was worthy but in actuality, they still persecuted others of different faiths. Would a nation under God still include agnostics and atheists. Does a person change his mind sometimes to another view. "Under God" is an expression that defines being "Strongly United". God is seen as spiritual. Take it or leave it, or leave it then take it. Its just there to be had.
Not all Christian religions condemn homosexuality. It is realized it is a defect and yet we are all created equal.
